Pregnancy yoga is a holistic approach to pregnancy that helps moms-to-be
uncover their natural strengths and intuition during this beautiful time
in a woman's life. Pregnancy is a sacred moment in time. Pregnancy yoga
helps you to love your body, connect with your baby, feel more relaxed,
lessens the anxiety associated with the challenges ahead and savor the
miracle of life.
Each session
includes yoga breathing, yoga poses and guided relaxations in a
90-minute class especially designed to teach moms-to-be how to use yoga
to prepare for a natural childbirth. You will learn yoga postures
designed to release the tensions in the uterus and pelvic floor, find
the appropriate muscles to use during delivery, open your back muscles,
improve circulation and digestion, relieve fatigue & tensions and
revitalize the internal organs.
This class is
a great way to prepare for birth, physically, mentally and emotionally
and a great way to make new friends and share concerns and experiences
with other expectant mothers. Our Pregnancy yoga classes create a
community of support for moms-to-be and inspire them mothers to deeply
connect with their babies while preparing them for their new journey
together.
